life in a bubble..

i was not going to sit and blog,but this started burning in my heart!!! and i new i gotta write it down ,probably more for myself than anyone else .. its a challenge to me!!   thier are marriages in ruin, thier are people hurting, God is going to judge this nation for our wickedness..thier are babies being aborted,killed that is!!!  And thats just part of it...What am i doing? Am i willing to step out of my bubble and do something, the cry is usually yea but what can i do!   The word says if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from thier wicked ways then i will heal thier land... sorry might not be word on...but the point is we can do SOMETHING!!!! as christians we are required to do something !! we can pray we have the freedom to vote, we have the freedom to stand for righteousness!!!!  Or am i to busy trying to make my world perfect or at least make it look that way...... behold God is my salvation; i will trust and not be afraid;for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song;he also is become my salvation..    isaih 12;2   ...           blessings

yay for flip flop season!!

well i think spring is here!!   last week we had a 75 deg day but then sunday was down in the 50s.... this wk is beautiful so far!!  i gotta say tho i am always ready for spring but this yr i am not in a hurry to mow yard or plant garden, last yr by this time we had our onions and potatoes in the ground...i think its because it hasn't been cold this winter and hasnt slowed down at all.....i do want to get lettuce and radishes and the spring stuff planted this wk...if i dont get it in it gets so hot early and its not good,  the other stuff i'm going to do that  later because we also have a longer growing season,  our july is full this yr so dont want my stuff getting ready that month.....baseball practice has started for mike & Josh and they are in diff leagues this yr so that will make it crazy...games they will play at the same park diff fields but practice wll be crazy...tonite mike has practice at 5 and josh at 6:)  but they are both excited about it!!  mike had a rough practice on sunday !! the ball hit him twice:( in his league they can have some crazy balls because you have 8-10 yr olds throwing as hard as they can:( so the coach trys to tell them where the best place is for the ball to hit them...but he sucked it up anyway!so many little things hes learning this yr!!      Steve & the boys went to get chicks last wk and came home with 16 chicks plus we have 8 chickens already... me and Zack have been fighting a cold :( i felt it fri.. and was drinking lots of lemon water and taking vit c and it wasnt to bad then i lost sleep over the wknd and woke up feeling awful monday morn!!!   Zacks throat sounds awful and he has a cough no fever PTL....we havent had to deal with a lot of colds this yr till nowPTL!!!   well thats beenlife in the south the past couple wks:):) God is good !! God is faithful!! he is unchanging!!! spring reminds me of new life!!    be blessed this wk may God bring new life ..

Catching up:)

A little bit about the last 2 weeks... We went to pa on a business trip and spent the wknd up their ...the trip was great, short and a few unexpected things our friends lost their baby, she was around 5 mo pregnant so we went to the memorial... The baby was soo tiny as I looked at that little baby the song how great is our God just came to mind all the little details in forming and creating us.. We really are fearfully and wonderfully made!!! And he is a God of details wwhen you look at the sunsets the beautiful colors, and some of the amazing scenery we have on this earth... I really think he cares about the small details in our lives...anyway we came home and got ready for visitors:) Matt & Marlene came to spend a few days with us... We loved havin them!! Think it was a little to short:). Mike and Josh had baseball tryouts on Saturday ,they both did good.... Josh really enjoyed it he might actually like it this yr. prolly hangin out with friends if not the playin ball part:):). Zacheriah has been growing and doing better! Still not sleeping all night:(. well its been awhile just wasn't really in the mood to blog....sorry im boring i know....but decided to blog about life,not just about the perfect days just life and it sure isn,t perfect......Sometimes homeschooling ,being a mom, being a teacher and being a wife thier just doesn't feel like thier is enough of me to go around:):) some days dishes don't get done till after lunch and i dont get out of my sweats till lunch:):)  i'm having a hard time getting into a morning routine because zach still doesn't sleep all night.....Sometimes u wander if ur doing this mothering thing right its not like we get another chance to do it over again:)    thats wen i need to cry out to God for strength,wisdom , grace to raise these special boys that he has blessed us with...an i need to give them to him...i pray that they would become warriors,that they would become MEN real MEN after God,'s own heart...I pray the holy spirit would work in thier hearts and in thier lives, for it is only God that can truly satisfy them .....Anyway so why homeschool sometimes i wander if i'm cut out for it, but i know its what God wants me to do right now...Not saying its the only way to go or that i would never send my kids to school....but anyway where did that come from:) we took the kids to the circus in nashville on saturday,it was fun kids make everything so much funner:)  we have been busy the weather has been beautiful this winter..spring flowers are starting to pop up...mike & Josh signed up for little league, tryouts and practices will be starting soon!! thats it for now !!
