WINTER TIME  }}}}}   not my favorite season glad its not the longest:)   last week [monday] we had 7 inches of snow......they said they haven't had that much snow since 1993...we got a call from friends monday morning to see if we want to go sledding....we had a blast!!! steve couldn't work all week and the boys were out of school.....lots of movies,finally we got tired of that so thurs. we packed up and drove to lynchburg for lunch...found a cute bar-b-que place...connect four and yahztee have been the games..last night me and hubby were up till 2:00 playing yahtzee:) bad i know but we are both kinda sore losers:)  really did have a fun week but had enough snow now,im done with winter:)  and may i remind you this is the south i mean things shut down if it snows..the threat of snow the schools are closed:):)   we do have another game of yahtzee to play to settle it:):)  well another week...may ya'll be blessed this week!! PTL...GOD IS GOOD!!                                                      

the holidays

wow i can"t believe the holidays are over!! i love the holidays,to celebrate the birth of my savior and all the traditions that go with that time of year,all the baking, spending time with friends and family,decorating with fresh pine:) i know it makes a mess but i still love it...anyway me and the boys decided to drive up monday before christmas to spend time with my sis and family before they head back to montana, they were planning on leaving sunday,steve flew up friday..the first 5 hrs. of our trip was going Perfect,left at 2 in the morn.the boys slept till my first gas stop around 7, making really good time:) about 2 hrs. later cruising in the left ln going 80 headphones on just jamming,in my own little world boys watching a movie,i felt my steering wheel keep pulling to the right,sooo quick pulled over and my right front tire was flat:(   soo not the way i had it planned:(  so called hubby and then called the cops,a lady came out and called a tow truck and stayed behind me till he came..loaded us up and took us to good ole walmart 5 mi. down the road...PTL the flat happened right in front of a mi. marker so i knew exactly where to tell the cop i was..and walmart only 5 mi. down the road,so we ate lunch at subway at walmart:) bought the boys candy because they really did awesome!! and on the road again after 85. for towing and 2.50 at walmart to change my tire:)  i always wandered what i would do if that happened:)  sooo 14 hrs later instead of 11 we got to my parents safe and sound! soo thankful for the lords protection could have been worse...makes me think ,how do handle the detours in my own life,when i think i know exactly where i"m going and how i'm going to get there,and the Lord brings you to a detour,and says this way my child this way,this is my plan for you.....do i kick and scream and fight or do i trust in my abba fathers faithfullness,and know that his plan is to prosper us not to harm us to give us a hope and future......anyway christmas was great was great spending time with my sis and mom together again it had been 6 mo. and the first christmas in 2 years.....so now the holidays are over and we are in our tenn. home again trying to get motivated and back on track....the boys and me:) start school next week.. blessings to ya"ll
