HOLIDAYS, BIRTHDAYS

christmas is coming....wow december is flying!!  this week is a little crazy play practice for the boys tonite,ladies night out tomm night and choir practice for me thurs. night program friday night and pa bound after the program whew let me catch my breath:):)     Last wk we celebrated ethan 4 th birthday....sunday we finally got our tree!we've been trying to do it the last 2 weeks and stuff kept coming up.... we gave the boys thier gifts yesterday,we plan on going to pa friday nite, steve's family has thier christmas dinner sunday......Last saturday morning steve wasn't working but matt was going to work,he came to get the truck and saw a deer so called Steve,he went running out and fired 5 shots and was out of shells so matt grabbed his gun out of the truck and got him:) It was a 7 pt. so matts keeping the horns and giving us the meat:):)  the boys went out to help drag him in.....  blessings to all this christmas!!

well thanksgiving is over and christmas right around the corner:)   we had a great thanksgiving! i always miss family a little more and really miss montana, 2 yrs ago we spent thanksgiving out there with Ivan & Mart....special times!! this year we invited ron & Heide over they don't have family down here either...i made turkey and stuffing and we had lots of other stuff, she called thurs. morning and said her uncle in pa died so they were going to head up right away, so it ended up being just us..I kinda wandered why i'm going to all the trouble if its just us but the boys thought it was great and i thought hey i'm going to do this every year..I hope its something the boys remember and want to come home for thanksgiving every year:):) we all said something we r thankful for ethans was the turkey:):)  I'm so thankful for a loving savior who gave it all for me..he's been reminding me lately of his love ,one week i was just feeling condemnation and all those feelings ..with having Zack it just felt like i wasn't getting that alone time with my father and i missed it..one day i was having all those thoughts and all of a sudden they stopped and i just heard this I love you thats it..its not really about our performance and our works he understands and loves us anyway!!!                         I've been doing some christmas decorating hope to get our tree this wknd..no shopping yet hoping to do some when we have ladies night out...can't believe its right around the corner , it seems sooner this year we will be going to pa a week before christmas, Steves family is getting together sunday before christmas not sure when we will be giving the boys thier gifts it seems to early to do it in 2 weeks,we'll see.....i don't think i'll be doing any baking down here this yr,just not worth it if we r leaving so soon plus if its around i'll want to eat it and really can't...  sis if you read this I MISS YOU!!! you need to get on FB ecspecially this week without your phone!!!   and i cant comment on your blog for some reason..was looking at your pics and it seriously seems like forever since we hung out!!!!  christmas cant wait!!  oh yea and i am so thankful for family to:) love my boys i even had to play football with them on thanksgiving wats a girl to do my boys are all boy:)  didn't really know wat i was doing but michael was my coach:):)  blessings!

this & that

we are back from pa...had a great trip,       zachariah did great he slept the 12 hr. up and back........  he is 6 wks old today,  i think we are getting into a schedule i forgot how much time a newborn takes...he now weighs 10 lbs..and gave me his first smile a wk ago,actually grandma got the first one:)    cant believe thanksiving is next wk...and christmas is only 5 wks away..i cant wait for the holidays this yr..i think we will go get the tree the wknd after christmas, i like to decorate a little earlier with us going to pa the wk before,....gotta run ,thier is school to be done baby needs attn:):)  have a blessed day!!

zachariah is 3 weeks this morning....he is not sleeping as much as he was, school has been going better this week!  i've been dealing with the flu sore throat, stuffy nose ,stuffed up head u get the pic..on top of losing sleep not good...PTL i do feel better this morning and pray the baby and the boys dont get it!!  michael went hunting with steve this morning:) talk about excited i was up at 12 and 3 and everytime he yelled out and asked me what time it is:) then this morning i was feeding zack and they were getting ready,he was talking nonstop, just a little hard for this mama before coffee but love seein him so excited!!                        the boys call zachariah zack but ethan calls him baby zachariah:) he has done so good with him!!    the weather has been beautiful yest. was up to 80 the boys were outside w\o shirts on and i planted lettuce a few wks ago and it looks great!! i could handle this weather all winter!!    i was reminded again this wk of wat a miracle zack is 2nd time i heard about someone losing thier baby because of a knot in the cord!   soo thankful just a reminder again of how important and powerful prayer is!!  i better run Josh needs to get on the computer and get school done:)

11 days old

can't believe zachariah is almost 2 wks old!!   the memory of that morning is still a little fresh:)  it has been a busy 2 weeks!! my parents and my brother came last week, they came on monday and stayed till thurs. that was a huge blessing was so nice having mom here, makin meals and catching up with things!! Leon took the boys ethan included to watch dolphin tale in 3d, they thot it was the greatest thing!! ethan still talks about it:)  We had a wedding on friday at 2 and we didnt get home till around 7..zack has been a really good baby but he was def. feelin the effects of the day and i was really tired!! marv. was here for the wedding and stayed with us till monday morn... so yesterday was back to normal or try to get back to normal:)   the boys had 2 wks off of school so we started that again yesterday....def. a little stressful first morning back was about ready to look for a big yellow schoolbus:):)   one of those days as a mom when ur just ready for the day to be over and start new the next morning:):)   and this morning was a whole lot better!!!   then i read this in my devotions yesterday OUCH:):)      we will never get rid of moodiness by praying, but we will by kicking it out of our lives. moods nearly always are rooted in some physical circumstance, not in our true inner self. it is a continual struggle not to listen to the moods which arise as a result of our physical condition, but we must never submit to them for a second. we have to pick ourselves up by the back of the neck and shake ourselves,then we will find that we can do what we believed we were unable to do..    the problem that most of us are cursed with is simply that we wont .   the christian life is one of spiritual courage and determinationlived out in our flesh......    [oswald chambers]

zachariah is 3 days old!! sorry if u guys get tired of all the baby pics i'll prolly be posting kinda what happens when u have family that lives mile and miles away..i think we will be coming to pa the wknd of nov. 5th so we will get to see his family then, steve wants to hunt with his brother and i sure dont mind comin up.........  But i do miss my sis and mom these first couple days even tho my parents and brother are coming on monday for a few days!!   but cant believe or even want to think about my sis not meeting this guy until christmas, he will already be about 10 wks old...this is the first time we havnt seen eachothers newborn:(     anyway enough of that , his first 3 days have been really good!  so far hes a very patient baby hope it stays that way:)       i remember with the first stressin out about everything feeding every so often and everything else,  if he wants to sleep i let him sleep he lets me know when hes hungry:);)    he gets so much attn. the boys want to hold him all the time, lots of kisses, as soon as he squeaks he has 3 brothers around him wandering wats wrong with him!!!         i feel really good! PTL  i know its not that way for everyone or every birth so i'm thanking God, the hardest thing is not doing to much when thiers laundry to be done dishes to be washed,dirty floors.... but i am loving these days the newborn stage doesn't last long and i lve this stage,   the smell, the softness, so vulnerble and dependent on you,   i told steve the other night i cant imagine him a naughty 2 yr old that we need to dicsipline:) dont worry i'm not that stupid i know its gonna happen but for now i'm soakin up this sweet innocent stage and i know that stage has its sweetness to:):)         i've got hungry boys so i better go!  blessings

Zachariah kade 7lbs 14oz. 20inches long

a short post since my sis doesn't have FB:(  i should get to bed:) its been an eventful day and i've been up since 2 this morning:)     zachariah the boys are calling him zack:) arrived at 8:00 this morning....   he was a diff. one with the others i knew when it was time, yest. i had lite contractions and kept thinking mabe today, but they never got consistent until 2 this morning i knew:)    everybody was sleeping and i thot i'll let them sleep as long as i can, the boys had planned on going to friends from church......at 5 i woke steve and told him he better take the kids,  josh had a big smile on his face...my midwife and her assistant came around 6..and he arrived 2 hrs later.....i wasnt sure how a home birth would be but it was a great experience my midwives were awesome!! and my husband is the best:) love him!!!  he was smaller than the others they were all around 9 lbs..and there was a knot in his cord they said if it tightens they usually cant survive longer than 3-5 min.... so we are praising the lord an absolutely loving this little guy!!! im just reminded how much of a miracle it is to be able to concieve and carry a child for 9 mo. and then birth a baby!!  amazing!!   God is so good!!! zachariah means God hath remembered!!   and he really is faithfull!!   thats it for now, good night:)
