Catching up:)

A little bit about the last 2 weeks... We went to pa on a business trip and spent the wknd up their ...the trip was great, short and a few unexpected things our friends lost their baby, she was around 5 mo pregnant so we went to the memorial... The baby was soo tiny as I looked at that little baby the song how great is our God just came to mind all the little details in forming and creating us.. We really are fearfully and wonderfully made!!! And he is a God of details wwhen you look at the sunsets the beautiful colors, and some of the amazing scenery we have on this earth... I really think he cares about the small details in our lives...anyway we came home and got ready for visitors:) Matt & Marlene came to spend a few days with us... We loved havin them!! Think it was a little to short:). Mike and Josh had baseball tryouts on Saturday ,they both did good.... Josh really enjoyed it he might actually like it this yr. prolly hangin out with friends if not the playin ball part:):). Zacheriah has been growing and doing better! Still not sleeping all night:(. Gotta run time to start school:):) bless ya! I'll post some pics of Gods creation..

well its been awhile just wasn't really in the mood to blog....sorry im boring i know....but decided to blog about life,not just about the perfect days just life and it sure isn,t perfect......Sometimes homeschooling ,being a mom, being a teacher and being a wife thier just doesn't feel like thier is enough of me to go around:):) some days dishes don't get done till after lunch and i dont get out of my sweats till lunch:):)  i'm having a hard time getting into a morning routine because zach still doesn't sleep all night.....Sometimes u wander if ur doing this mothering thing right its not like we get another chance to do it over again:)    thats wen i need to cry out to God for strength,wisdom , grace to raise these special boys that he has blessed us with...an i need to give them to him...i pray that they would become warriors,that they would become MEN real MEN after God,'s own heart...I pray the holy spirit would work in thier hearts and in thier lives, for it is only God that can truly satisfy them .....Anyway so why homeschool sometimes i wander if i'm cut out for it, but i know its what God wants me to do right now...Not saying its the only way to go or that i would never send my kids to school....but anyway where did that come from:) we took the kids to the circus in nashville on saturday,it was fun kids make everything so much funner:)  we have been busy the weather has been beautiful this winter..spring flowers are starting to pop up...mike & Josh signed up for little league, tryouts and practices will be starting soon!! thats it for now !!

christmas, new year

ok where to start? i guess pa kinda where our christmas break started,    we spent 2 wks in Pa this year,   had a great christmas how do you define having a great christmas is it being together as a family, lots of gifts, getting exactly wat you have wanted?  Other christmases i would have said being all together with family but this year i had to dig deeper, we wern't all together my sis and family couldn't make it and thier are other familys who are missing loved ones to..... Its about jesus it has to be,its where the Joy and peace are found its not about gifts its not even about family its about our relationship with Christ, its the finished work on the cross......we did have a great time with family dont get me wrong:) christmas eve we were together,  we had seafood and lots of yummy food and hangin out,    Christmas morning we got up early after only a few hrs of sleep and went to times sq. church with some awesome people!!!   monday we got to hangout with more friends and monday night me and Steve slipped away for the night ...was a late anniversary and everything else:) kinda do that in Pa because we have great babysitters:):)     We got back Friday morning at 3.....              saturday night we were together as a family i made stromboli and got some treats for the kids, we put them to bed, and we watched the ball drop in times sq. made pina coladas and played yahtzee.....the real competitive yahtzee for those of u that read my blog and are laughing at this:):)      i always wander what the new year will hold,   i dont know but i thank God he does and i trust him in the plans he has for us this yr.... . i feel a sense of excitement and seriousness this yr...  i am challenged with my commitment to prayer and fasting and a deeper trust in him in hearing him speak and allowing the holy spirit to work in me.....In praying for revival in our land..... In wisdom guiding and leading our children to the Lord for thier needs that only he can supply.....         Zachariah is growing, he is still not as chubby as my others, not sure why he thinks he needs his bottle all the time even at night he will wake up twice:(     he seems long a liitlt more like josh at his age.....he travels really good so far which is great!!!  he loves to sit in his seat in the middle of his brothers...he seems to love action and likes to sit up best, he will be rolling soon......  and soo  its 2012 life goes on...    may this yr be a yr of blessing to ya'll, a yr of vision...    where there is no vision my people perish...proverbs 29:18..         pics to come later

HOLIDAYS, BIRTHDAYS

christmas is coming....wow december is flying!!  this week is a little crazy play practice for the boys tonite,ladies night out tomm night and choir practice for me thurs. night program friday night and pa bound after the program whew let me catch my breath:):)     Last wk we celebrated ethan 4 th birthday....sunday we finally got our tree!we've been trying to do it the last 2 weeks and stuff kept coming up.... we gave the boys thier gifts yesterday,we plan on going to pa friday nite, steve's family has thier christmas dinner sunday......Last saturday morning steve wasn't working but matt was going to work,he came to get the truck and saw a deer so called Steve,he went running out and fired 5 shots and was out of shells so matt grabbed his gun out of the truck and got him:) It was a 7 pt. so matts keeping the horns and giving us the meat:):)  the boys went out to help drag him in.....  blessings to all this christmas!!
