1. ok pretty bad i know couldn't even come up with a cool title:)  anyway this one will be short..want to post pics but can't because our laptop decided to crash:( the thing i'm worried about is my pics! i have so many on there..the guy said he cant save anything but we r getting a second opinion!  i kept thinking i need to back everything up just didnt get it done...we have a desktop and a lot of older pics are on there, but for some reason i cant load more pics on there and i have a lot of pics on fb and my camera so its not all lost!!!  cant believe how the summer is flying by, its time to start getting school stuff ready, i'd like to get the kids started the 3rd week in aug..was going to earlier but we will be in pa until the 2nd wk....i'm trying abeka this yr. so kinda excited to get started ... sat. we head to pa will be with steves family at boulder ridge for 3 days, steves flying back thurs. to start a job in mississippi that will take a month,its 6 hrs and he would come back wknds,but me and the boys are planning on staying in pa for about 2 wks, prolly be the last trip before baby:)looking forward to that the boys r excited love how they like hanging out with thier cousins, and ethan thinks uncle john's going to play ball with him:)   yesterday i canned peaches yea thats right i canned peaches, must be the pregnancy i enjoy canning but havn't canned peaches since i'm married,just never really liked them i froze them and we like that..i asked steve if he likes them and he said i grew up on them:) had to call mom to ask her how to make the juice,i knew it was easy but didnt know how much sugar...funny how it all comes back wen you start, i could just see my grandma with her weathered wrinkled hands peeling the peaches and first putting 2 stones in the jars,  was doing that and josh was watching he asked me why the 2 stones i said because grandma used to:):) i had to chuckle...i said this was gonna be short sooo i better run!!  so much to get done before sat. and bible studys here tomm nite.....on another note you that have sisters around stop in and drink coffee with them doesnt matter how busy u are take time..sit and chat loooong appreciate eachother, seriosly missing my sis this week!!!  anyway i know the lord has a plan for us both where we r at sooo the next time we r together we will soak it up!!!    blessings!!

LIFE

this summer has been busy and fun..last week we had family here to visit, they came sunday and stayed till friday morning...we had a great time,the boys had a blast with thier cousins, i try to get the freezer stocked and work ahead so it can be a relaxing time..went to the pool and the lake on the days it didnt storm:)  the weather has been hot but we've had a lot of storms...but we really enjoyed them!!  i found out tues. i have jury duty:( was not in the mood, but went and sat in the room for 2 hrs. judge came in and said the guy pleaded guilty it was a sexual molestation case and could have been a 3 day trial, with family here and the kids i really didnt want to be there!  thurs. i had an ultrasound appt.  it was so awesome to see the miracle of life! baby was very active and we werent sure if we could see boy or girl,  but after a while we could tell it was a baby boy!!!!   we are so excited!! wasnt sure how the boys would react because they really wanted a girl,, we told them and they got these big smiles on thier face!!  so now that they know they are excited!!  God is soo good!!  cant believe this wknd is july 4th wknd already, and the fireworks have started:) about 2 wks before the 4th you see all these firework tents go up... and they sell some big ones..so the boys have bottle rockets and anything else that makes noise around for about 2 wks:):)  saturday we need to have a puppy at the airport in atlanta,so might spend some time there.... monday we have the church picnic which is usually an all day thing with fireworks in the end....soo have a fun safe wknd , GOD BLESS!!!

memories

1. sometimes i wander what my kids will remember of thier childhood.. what do you think about when you think of yours...i know it wasn't easy for my parents...but somehow i mostly just remember the good times,and have good memories..i didnt feel the stress they felt at times ...anyway so i wanna make memories with my kids and my husband, thier could come a time where thats all they have..a perfectly clean house or a perfectly weedless garden or flower bed or a busy mom,really doesnt mean that much to them, but do i take the time to laugh with them and have fun.. this is a challenge for me..last thurs. was a test of this:) steve was home because he was going to minnesota friday for a week to help clean up a christian retreat...so i wasnt getting my stuff done in the morning anyway,went to run errands over lunch and came home the kitchen was a mess,the boys decided to make eggs for lunch:) so dishhes everywhere..cheese on the counter, and i had groceries to put away,michael had a 530 ballgame,  and the boys run in saying daddy wants to take the boat to the lake...i'm thinking yea right you guys can go i need to do laundry and clean up your mess..fought with myself for a while..and decided you know what i'm going,daddys going to be gone for a week and you know what Lord knows how many times like this we r going to be blessed with, so off we went,it was a beautiful 93 deg. day the water was perfect, the boys tubed, we jumped in the water and just hung out...house was still a mess but it got cleaned, laundry eventually got put away:) and michael made it to his game on time,ate supper at 8:00...  but it was all worth it... so this week with Steve gone i'm trying to remember that lesson..we went fishing monday night,didnt catch anything:)  today i really need to stay home and clean:) and i miss my hubby,am ready to have him home!!        makes me think of the song we have this moment::::;   Lord today help me to sieze the moment:;;;;;;;                 ethan has this thing lately he will ask me.. is the corn ready yet...[not yet dear]   is the baby ready yet[not yet dear]  :):)    not sure why they go together:):)    

ORANGE CRANBERRY SCONES

my sis wanted this recipeso here it is...... the perfect coffee party food!      cranberry orange scones with honey butter.....             2cups flour   1 tablespoon sugar     2 tsp.baking powder..1/2 tsp. salt... 1/4 cup butter.. 1/2 cup heavy cream..1 egg..1 cup dried cranberrys...2 tsp. orange zest........................          combine dry ingredients in large bowel. work butter into dry ingredients with fork until butter is the size of small peas.add remaining ingredients until moistened.turn dough onto a well floured surface .pat into a circle 3/4 inch thick;cut into 8 wedges..place on cookie sheet. sprinkle with sugar.bake at 425 deg. 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown..serve warm with orange honey butter.........................orange honey butter...... 1/4 cup soft butter...1/2 tablespoon honey...1/2 tsp. orange zest.....

update

well i'm back again,we are back home again:)   we spent a week in pa.....Steve did the pig roast at market for my dad..him an his brother take turns since thier Dad had his accident and this year Steve decided to still do it even tho we moved..i sure didnt mind i worked the 2 days and all 3 boys went along..what a blast they all did so good Ethan had so much fun..with grandparents at the soft preztal and ice cream stand and an aunt and cousins at the candy life couldnt get better for him....then Steve had a job to do for a friend of my dads the next 3 days...a great week was good to see family and friends again!!  so now home again, spent time in the garden it looked awful with all the rain and being gone for a week, i told the boys if they help i'll take them ti mcdonalds,it worked and they did a great job!  this week hasnt been as busy, steve only has 1 ballgame and michael only has one...last night the phillies were playing the cardinals and i decided to make it fun, Steve likes the card. and i'm a philly fan(really dont care that much but makes it kinda fun)  the boys are philly to unless the cards are winning:)  anyway so we made cupcakes with p & c  flags and chocolate strawberries and stromboli....it was fun the boys ended up playing thier own baseball and i think i fell asleep in the last inning:):)  I am loving not having to think of school right now!!  that will come soon enough!  PREGNANCY....... has been going good baby def. growing feel like i POPPED the last couple weeks feeling movement which is always exciting!  i think i'm 22 weeks this week...    scheduled an ultrasound yest. for june 16..hopefully we will still be able to see boy or girl:)   but boy or girl we will be excited because i know that the lord knows the plan he has for this child...   gotta run!! blessngs!!

relationship

its sunday morning,no church this morning because it would be mostly ladies:)  the men are on the island..miss my hubby even tho its only 3 days it feels like a lot longer because i cant text him or talk to him....whats been on my mind the past few days dont know if i can get it right...thinking about my relationship with my abba father..you know relationships grow the more time and effort you put into them,marriage relationships,with your kids...and the more time you put into thm the more you get to know the person...how deep and how far do you want to go with the father,you know its up to me its up to you he doesnt force us to do anything its our choice....it usually requires giving something up something we r hanging on to...but i know if we can surrender the blessings outweigh whatever you give up....so what is holding us back is it fear that he will require to much of us that we will have to give up to much fear of the unknown...but why fear when he is faithful to do above and beyond..and no earthly thing can compare to the sweetness of his prescence the sweetness of the holy spirit!!
