Update on life in the south:):)

Still can't post pics, but wanted to update anyway.. So I can remember some of the things..   It's a rainy Sunday , we didn't have church today the men's fast is this wknd, they have had a rainy wknd.. Me and the boys have had a lazy wknd ! Last night we hung out with friends......                           We are still busy with baseball Josh's games are tues & fri, mikes are Monday &thurs, Ethan's are tues, fri  or Saturday mornin so yea baseball every night:).   It's all at the same park and they are havin fun! So I really don't mind these are the memories we will remember someday:):). It's only a few more weeks, our season starts early and will be done in June ..  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~PREGNANCY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I 'm starting to feel better!!  Which is great!! It was rough I didn't get mornin sickness it was more evenings and nothing really helped:(. I'm beginning to enjoy coffee again and actually able to cook again, I'll be 3 mo Tuesday so hopefully that part is over!  Other than that its been great!~ ~~~~~~~~~~ Leon came down to surprise the boys 2 weeks ago, it was so much fun, it was jamboree day Saturday in baseball for the boys so he got to see all 3 of them play, and he was drivin a sweet mustang so of course they all wanted to go with their uncle everywhere:):) and he left me drive:) it was fun havin him here for a few days! The boys think they have the coolest uncle :) I agree!  ~~~~~ we are wrapping up school we have 2 more weeks, I'm ready to be done!! It was a good year but I'm ready for a break!! Ready for summer days!!  Next year Ethan will be in kindergarten so it'll be 3 in school, so I'll enjoy the summer break:).  One of these days hopefully I'll just post a bunch of pics:):).  Have a great day! I still can't post pics :( and its just a boring blog without pics:(:( anyway here's a little update on April so far,   It's been busy, fun, painful:( yes painful a few weeks ago Sunday morning I squatted to look under the couch for something and couldn't get back up, I never have back problems and felt fine that morning,   Steve prayed over it and I could stand up but knew church was out , steve took the boys I was flat on my back until Wednesday !! Never had so much pain in my back, the boys helped and steve stuck around and was a great help,  after lots of prayer it finally got better by Friday morning!!  Lee brought Mel & Beck & girls down, the guys did some turkey hunting and us ladies chatted and took care of our kids:):) it was a fun wknd! Love u guys!                              Last week inter league games started, and Ethan has been practicing, he loves it!!!     Monday morning a few more guys came down to turkey hunt, Steve's 2 nieces came along , they were a blessing!!!   One of the guys got a turkey this morning......                                  Saturday kicks off the baseball season with a jamboree ,they take pictures then all 3 boys have a game, they are excited!!    They are calling for some bad storms tomorrow so we'll see!!                 So that's a little update, oh yea speaking of little I like little , little toes little finger sweet little lips, yup looks like a little blessing or shud I say feels like , with all the puking and the anti coffee things happening will be arriving sometime in November:):):).     We are excited!! I am counting down the weeks until my first semester is over its been a little rough:(   The boys are super excited Josh is once again wishing for a sister the other boys say a boy,  me and steve really don't mind either way, I would be totally fine with another boy!!!!       Well that's it:):):)

We have been dealing with the flu around here:(. Haven't had to deal with it all winter!!  Michael had it first, Zack and Josh had a little bit of it,   Was hopeing it would bypass me, mamas don't have time to be sick,  but it hit me Friday night yesterday I was achy and hot then cold, to make things worse yest was beautiful so sat outside for my nap, I felt better in the sun anyway kinda dried things up:)   Well was out to long and got burnt so my face feels hot from a sunburn plus fever:).  Ethan has been really sick to so we both stayed home from church today, steve and the boys brought home our fav. Sunday meal,  ( Mexican)!!  So I had a break with cookin,  we are feelin a little better!!  They ate and were out the door , mike has a baseball practice( slash) scrimmage this afternoon.... Sure wish we could have joined them!!     Ethan had his first t-ball meeting last Thursday night he was so excited and counting down the days!! He was all smiles all night, they are the tigers:). His first practice is tomorrow night!!  Josh has a tournament this week ant has a game tomm night to so steve will take Ethan and I'll be with Josh:).       Spring is finally here the trees are budding and we are working on the garden, we are doing a few things to try and get it to produce more so its takin longer to be able to plant.. I have pics I wanna post sometime but havin problems with that:(.  Well zack and Ethan are takin their naps or supposed to be I hear zack still fussin:( think ill try to take a nap to!! Mabe outside again:):).  Blessings!!

ahhh i am sooo ready for spring this year! its later than usual, today is cold [in the 40's] and windy, i know that might not sound to cold to you northerners ,but to us southerners who usually have warm temps by now its bad:) the trees have been budding and 2 yrs ago i had some things in my garden planted already! i'll stop whinin now its supposed to be in the 60's this wknd and next wk:):):)  they have missed a lot of ball practice, mike has a tournament this week, they played a doubleheader monday night and won both,not bad for the team still being rusty...he had fun!!  next game is tomm night..they both have practice tonight,Josh has practice at 4;30 tomm night mike has a game at 5;30...just a little crazy but its fun:)  and ethan prob. starts practice soon:)                                                      The wknd was busier than usual,we were babysitting for friends,she was havin a baby,one of the boys friends went with us to church and was here in the afternoon.. i ended up makin a meal for the couple that had the new baby...gotta run, its school time!! blessings!!

Update on michael .... his wrist has healed up soo good !! praise the lord!! he doesnt have it wrapped anymore and is pretty much back to normal.. baseball tryouts were today for mike and Josh.. they both did good mikes wrist didnt bother him at all.  it was a beautiful day Zacks cheeks were a little pink from sittin in the sun watchin...I'm ready for the craziness of baseball season:):) Spring is comin!!! i'm so ready this year!   blessings!!

summer sausage

Its a rainy morning...   might be a good day to start house cleaning,see how that goes with the kids inside:(     Steve shot 2 deer this fall and we usually like to get summer sausage made..its a good snack for the boys and healthier than chips and other junk , plus im not a big fan of cooking with venison:(   well he butchered them himself with the help of some other guys and took it down to the shop, they said they cant make it if they dont butcher it there...so we just got it all ground to put in the freezer.... i googled some things and checked pinterest and it didnt look to hard to make, so i tried it and it passed the test with my tough food critics:)   didnt try any myself but they love it and it gets rid of the gr meat:)   here  is the recipe....       1 cup cold water,   3 TBLSP.mortons tenderquick,   2 tsp mustard seed [i used gr mustard]   1 tsp garlic powder,  1 tsp pepper,  2 tsp. liquid smoke.  3 lbs venison,  1 cup shredded cheese, 2 jalepeno peppers[i skipped the cheese and peppers so my kids would eat it, i did add hot pepper flakes and a little onion salt]  mix it all together until the mixture is dossolved , then add venison and mix really good, put in refrigerator for 24 hrs......         preheat oven to 300deg  rol meat into 2 logs try to pack together as much as you can i use saran wrap and kinda roll it for awhile...line a baking sheet with foil and bake for 2 hrs..

Monday morning ,laundry, clean-up after the wknd...no school this morning micheal cut his wrist saturday night....they had friends over and they were playing sock ball, they roll a bunch of socks in a ball because mom says no balls in the house;0..     i had a gallon jar that i saw was broken and put it on the desk out of hands reach or so i thot, not sure exactly what happened i heard a crash and yellin and micheal cryin he came runnin up with blood running from his wrist, took him in the bathroom and dumped tea tree oil on it....we got the bleeding stopped really didn't bleed that much,and just wrapped it up..mike was tryin to be brave because his friends were here overnight but there was a lot of crying he was scared he has to get stiches,[probably should have!]  and we had baseball sign-ups saturday and try-outs are in 2 wks and its his pitching hand, so his mind was in overdrive worrying about to many things!!   lots of prayer!!  Last night he soaked it and we wrapped it again, he had so much pain when he was soaking it! So if you think about it pray for healing!!! we'll see what it looks like tonight.....                         Its supposed to get up in the 50's this week, i'm ready for spring!! blessings i gotta get off the computer:)
