Thanksgiving ..

Thanksgiving in the south, so many things to be thankful for!!  We didn't spend the day with our families, but I decided last year I would still cook and go all out even if its just us:) we invited friends who don't have family down here either , Ron & heide , I made stuffing ,cranberry relish, sweet potatoes with bacon and maple syrup, autumn salad with pears and apples,pumpkin pie, California salad and Christmas salad, heide brought mashed potatoes and a pumpkin cheesecake...oh yea forgot the turkey and the one steve decided to try on the big green egg:):). So yes we had plenty of food!!  We had a great day they were here till 10, we played some games and ate some more:).                Sunday steve went hunting and finally got not one but 2 deer,  he was a happy man,so were the boys:)).        I think we will get summer sausage made, that's what it's called down here pretty much ring bologna......        I'm thinking we might get our tree this wknd....        I was going to take pics on thanksgiving but all I got it to raw turkeys:( so this is just a mixture of pics:).   Blessings!
