christmas, new year

ok where to start? i guess pa kinda where our christmas break started,    we spent 2 wks in Pa this year,   had a great christmas how do you define having a great christmas is it being together as a family, lots of gifts, getting exactly wat you have wanted?  Other christmases i would have said being all together with family but this year i had to dig deeper, we wern't all together my sis and family couldn't make it and thier are other familys who are missing loved ones to..... Its about jesus it has to be,its where the Joy and peace are found its not about gifts its not even about family its about our relationship with Christ, its the finished work on the cross......we did have a great time with family dont get me wrong:) christmas eve we were together,  we had seafood and lots of yummy food and hangin out,    Christmas morning we got up early after only a few hrs of sleep and went to times sq. church with some awesome people!!!   monday we got to hangout with more friends and monday night me and Steve slipped away for the night ...was a late anniversary and everything else:) kinda do that in Pa because we have great babysitters:):)     We got back Friday morning at 3.....              saturday night we were together as a family i made stromboli and got some treats for the kids, we put them to bed, and we watched the ball drop in times sq. made pina coladas and played yahtzee.....the real competitive yahtzee for those of u that read my blog and are laughing at this:):)      i always wander what the new year will hold,   i dont know but i thank God he does and i trust him in the plans he has for us this yr.... . i feel a sense of excitement and seriousness this yr...  i am challenged with my commitment to prayer and fasting and a deeper trust in him in hearing him speak and allowing the holy spirit to work in me.....In praying for revival in our land..... In wisdom guiding and leading our children to the Lord for thier needs that only he can supply.....         Zachariah is growing, he is still not as chubby as my others, not sure why he thinks he needs his bottle all the time even at night he will wake up twice:(     he seems long a liitlt more like josh at his age.....he travels really good so far which is great!!!  he loves to sit in his seat in the middle of his brothers...he seems to love action and likes to sit up best, he will be rolling soon......  and soo  its 2012 life goes on...    may this yr be a yr of blessing to ya'll, a yr of vision...    where there is no vision my people perish...proverbs 29:18..         pics to come later

HOLIDAYS, BIRTHDAYS

christmas is coming....wow december is flying!!  this week is a little crazy play practice for the boys tonite,ladies night out tomm night and choir practice for me thurs. night program friday night and pa bound after the program whew let me catch my breath:):)     Last wk we celebrated ethan 4 th birthday....sunday we finally got our tree!we've been trying to do it the last 2 weeks and stuff kept coming up.... we gave the boys thier gifts yesterday,we plan on going to pa friday nite, steve's family has thier christmas dinner sunday......Last saturday morning steve wasn't working but matt was going to work,he came to get the truck and saw a deer so called Steve,he went running out and fired 5 shots and was out of shells so matt grabbed his gun out of the truck and got him:) It was a 7 pt. so matts keeping the horns and giving us the meat:):)  the boys went out to help drag him in.....  blessings to all this christmas!!

well thanksgiving is over and christmas right around the corner:)   we had a great thanksgiving! i always miss family a little more and really miss montana, 2 yrs ago we spent thanksgiving out there with Ivan & Mart....special times!! this year we invited ron & Heide over they don't have family down here either...i made turkey and stuffing and we had lots of other stuff, she called thurs. morning and said her uncle in pa died so they were going to head up right away, so it ended up being just us..I kinda wandered why i'm going to all the trouble if its just us but the boys thought it was great and i thought hey i'm going to do this every year..I hope its something the boys remember and want to come home for thanksgiving every year:):) we all said something we r thankful for ethans was the turkey:):)  I'm so thankful for a loving savior who gave it all for me..he's been reminding me lately of his love ,one week i was just feeling condemnation and all those feelings ..with having Zack it just felt like i wasn't getting that alone time with my father and i missed it..one day i was having all those thoughts and all of a sudden they stopped and i just heard this I love you thats it..its not really about our performance and our works he understands and loves us anyway!!!                         I've been doing some christmas decorating hope to get our tree this wknd..no shopping yet hoping to do some when we have ladies night out...can't believe its right around the corner , it seems sooner this year we will be going to pa a week before christmas, Steves family is getting together sunday before christmas not sure when we will be giving the boys thier gifts it seems to early to do it in 2 weeks,we'll see.....i don't think i'll be doing any baking down here this yr,just not worth it if we r leaving so soon plus if its around i'll want to eat it and really can't...  sis if you read this I MISS YOU!!! you need to get on FB ecspecially this week without your phone!!!   and i cant comment on your blog for some reason..was looking at your pics and it seriously seems like forever since we hung out!!!!  christmas cant wait!!  oh yea and i am so thankful for family to:) love my boys i even had to play football with them on thanksgiving wats a girl to do my boys are all boy:)  didn't really know wat i was doing but michael was my coach:):)  blessings!

this & that

we are back from pa...had a great trip,       zachariah did great he slept the 12 hr. up and back........  he is 6 wks old today,  i think we are getting into a schedule i forgot how much time a newborn takes...he now weighs 10 lbs..and gave me his first smile a wk ago,actually grandma got the first one:)    cant believe thanksiving is next wk...and christmas is only 5 wks away..i cant wait for the holidays this yr..i think we will go get the tree the wknd after christmas, i like to decorate a little earlier with us going to pa the wk before,....gotta run ,thier is school to be done baby needs attn:):)  have a blessed day!!
